Wjet PP plastic self adhesive label with an easy peel removable adhesive (+ overlap lock property)
Description
A gloss white coated instant dry water based ink jet compatible plastic label with an easy peel removable adhesive and white release liner. The label has an additional unique property that it will lock to itself if overlapped making it ideal for applications where there is risk of winging off with heat say or if the label need to lock to itself at the ends for example round a water or soft drinks bottle.
Uses:
Supplied die-cut to size and shape labels on rolls or slit to a continuous feed uncut roll, the material can be printed on with our range of dye and pigment ink digital based label printers. Works best with dye ink and may take a little longer to dry with pigment ink types and switching to 'cym' instead of 'cymk' mode may help speed drying as the black ink (k) takes the longest to set into the coating. The easy peel adhesive is good for easy removal from pottery and glass leaving no residue. The 'lock' property when the label is overlapped has extra uses to prevent removal, to prevent the labels becoming detached and to prevent chances of the label 'winging' off over time.
Environment:
The printed label can be used indoors. Water based ink is not generally good for outdoors but use of pigment ink will provide a longer life against sunlight and rain. The gloss coating can start to break down in time if outdoors so extended use outside is not recommended.
Testing:
The material has been tested in our works. KTEC GROUP provide a free print sample service that we recommend you use so that samples can be provided and tested in your own conditions of use. Please ensure to send in your artwork or print colour approval and test the printed surface with any chemicals or solvents that may come into contact with the label. Test the adhesive to make sure it performs as expected when applied to your product or packaging.
